Inpatient Physical Therapists provide care to patients in all medical and surgical specialties for a pediatric, adult, and geriatric population. Inpatient Physical Therapists have the opportunity to rotate through all specialty areas of Cardiopulmonary, Neurology, Medicine, Surgery and Orthopedics, including Pediatrics, Transplants, and Oncology.
The Inpatient Physical Therapy Service promotes ongoing clinical and professional development through guided clinical practice with our Clinical Specialists, bimonthly Physical Therapy case conferences, tuition reimbursement, continuing education funding, and active involvement in professional Physical Therapy association activities.Physical Therapists interested in this position should possess solid clinical evaluation skills, good communication and problem solving skills, and an interest in community outreach activities and student Physical Therapy programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a Massachusetts licensed Physical Therapist seeking the clinical and professional development opportunities of a dynamic academic teaching hospital.
Ideal candidate must have 2 years of acute care experience.
