We currently have exciting opportunities for a Critical Care Technician (CCT) to join the MGH Blake 12 ICU team! Presently, Blake 12 ICU is an 18-bed adult medical, surgical, abdominal transplant, and trauma intensive care unit. Under the direction of a registered nurse (RN), the Critical Care Technician (CCT) assists the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment. CCT provides assistance with activities of daily living needs of patients, assisting nurses in helping to stabilize patients, drawing blood, frequent glucose monitoring, and obtaining EKGs, to name a few.
- • Must have at least 1 year of inpatient experience within an acute care setting.
• Enrolled in a certification program or certified as a Nursing Assistant or EMT at time of hire OR.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Enrolled in a nursing or pre-med undergraduate program with at least one semester of direct patient care rotations complete at time of hire OR.
• Successful completion of the Laboure College PCT program.
