The Division of Palliative Care and Geriatric Medicine is seeking a dynamic individual with excellent clinical, collaborative and consultation skills to join the inaugural inpatient supportive care unit and emergency room palliative care consult service. Primary responsibilities include psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, education, and supportive services for patients with serious illness and their families. Must have strong clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Our focus is to help patients live as well and as fully as possible when facing a life-threatening illness, as well as provide psychosupportive care to their loved ones.

MSW degree from an accredited program
Current Massachusetts license at the LICSW level
Minimum of 3 years of medical social work with end-of-life care experience required.
