The Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Pathology is looking for exceptional candidates to join the Computational Pathology Research Group. The successful candidates will join an interdisciplinary team working in Cancer Biology, with a particular focus on integration of large datasets including genomic scale next-generation sequencing data, single cell RNAseq, ATACseq, multiomics, and epigenetics applied to basic, translational, and clinical research. The successful candidate will be part of the Molecular Pathology Research Unit ( https://www.massgeneral.org/pathology/research ) and will interact with faculty in both MGH Pathology and the MGH Center for Cancer Research. This is a vibrant research environment comprising computational, experimental, and clinical groups that have access to large repositories of patient samples, data sets, and laboratory-based collaborators.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Projects will include integration of cancer genome, transcriptome, and epigenome data; analysis and pipeline development for single cell sequencing platforms (RNAseq, ATAC-seq, multiomics, Velocity trajectory analysis); interrogation of clinical samples and materials from basic and translational research. Typical responsibilities will include applying and developing algorithms for the analysis of next-generation sequencing data (DNA, RNA ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq), single cell data sets, developing integrated data visualization and analysis tools and producing robust software solutions.
WORKING CONDITIONS
In person and hybrid work options will be available to qualified applicants. Off site, entirely remote working will be considered but not preferred.
