The Infusion Unit is responsible for the care of patients receiving therapy for hematologic and oncologic disorders. The APP will work collaboratively with primary hematology/oncology teams and nursing staff in order to ensure continuity of care across the care continuum.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Oncology Infusion Unit APP provides direct care to the Ambulatory Oncology infusion population in collaboration with the primary hematology/oncology team.
QUALIFICATIONS :
3 years oncology experience required, prior infusion unit first responder experience preferred
SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED : Demonstrated competence in specialized area through previous work in oncology care
WORKING CONDITIONS : Ambulatory Infusion Unit
30 hour position on site including weekends with opportunity to expand hours to include after hours, on-call remote work
