Description:
Markon Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer that is well versed in government facilities, both maintenance and construction, comfortable in providing engineer support to all phases of facility maintenance and construction. Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and/or review planning documents;
- Conduct building code compliance evaluations;
- Perform peer review of plans, specification, and technical reports prepared by others;
- Develop design concepts and detailed designs;
- Coordinate with architectural, civil/structural, security, and mechanical disciplines;
- Provide support in project design, bid and construction phases;
- Develop project schedules;
- Conduct cost benefit analysis;
- Develop design life cycle cost estimates;
- Serve as project/team lead;
- Develop scopes of work;
- Provide contract administration support;
- Conduct technical studies;
- Develop project schedules;
- Conduct feasibility studies;
- Lead the production of design and technical information; and
- Work and maintain agreed technical and design standards.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements
- Must have an active TS/SCI with a CI polygraph.
- Must have an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree.
- EIT Certificate required; Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
- Ability to develop working knowledge of all technical requirements of projects.
- Experienced user on commonly used CADD software.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with 10 years of experience (PM5).
- Must be able to travel 10-20% including OCONUS.
Desired-
- Autodesk Certified Professional preferred.
- Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
