Co-founded by George Lucas and Mellody Hobson and led by director and CEO Sandra Jackson-Dumont, the Lucas Museum was designed by renowned architect Ma Yansong of MAD Architects with Stantec as executive architect and is under construction in Los Angeles’s Exposition Park. An 11-acre campus with extensive new green space designed by Studio-MLA will embrace the museum’s 300,000-square-foot building, which will feature expansive galleries, two state-of-the-art theaters, and dedicated spaces for learning and engagement, dining, retail, and events. .
Position Summary
The Executive Assistant to the Chief People and Culture Officer is a pivotal role within the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, providing essential support in the administration and operation of the People and Culture department. This role is central to fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and creative work environment. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, exceptional communicator capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Executive Assistant must be nimble, highly responsible, trustworthy, and adaptable, offering a unique opportunity to engage with diverse and dynamic teams. A significant focus will be on assisting the Chief People and Culture Officer in day-to-day administration, managing confidential and time-sensitive materials, and overseeing the Officer’s schedule and travel. This role requires a solid understanding of the museum’s operations and business practices and is integral to the seamless operation of the organization, requiring a combination of administrative expertise, strategic thinking, exceptional project and time management skills, and the ability to navigate the complexities of museum functions.
