DataHub team is looking for an experienced full stack software engineer to build and scale the metadata management platform that allows employees to find, understand and manage datasets at LinkedIn. This role is critical for the team to ensure the effective collaboration with our partners, customers. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the product architecture, influencing both current and future technical direction.
This role will be based in Mountain View, CA.

Responsibilities:
• Work on both front-end and back-end for internal tools and applications.
• Work with a world class team of software and systems engineers and data scientists, building tools that provide innovative insights into the data ecosystem of LinkedIn.
• Collaborate with partners and internal customers to iterate and enhance current applications and features.
• Develop & contribute to coding efforts, producing high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
• Contribute to engineering innovations that fuel LinkedIn’s vision and mission.
Basic Qualifications:
• BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent technical experience
• 1+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with JavaScript and React.js
Preferred Qualifications
• MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• Experience in designing and building infrastructure, working with data, and web services on a large scale
• Full-stack software engineering experience, including development of APIs with GraphQL, architecting and building single-page applications
• Expert level knowledge of JavaScript and React.js
• Coding experience with Java
• Experience in data related domain
• Experience in open-source projects and/or academic research in large data

The pay range for this role is $98,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
