Job Description
We are seeking a savvy communications professional for the role of Head of Communications for Australia, reporting into Director, Communications, APAC. The APAC region is one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing regions for LinkedIn and Australia is a key market, contributing significant revenue and with high member penetration. The Head of Communications for Australia will have an intimate working knowledge of Australia and will lead, build and execute the external global communications strategy across all audiences. This includes our owned and earned media programmes and integrated, measurable campaigns that support the company’s business objectives.
Business objectives include raising awareness of our brand and our platform, driving education and engagement in Australia. We are looking for a strategic self-starter who can work collaboratively across the business and with external agency partners. Demonstrating a proactive approach to communications, with a finger on the pulse of key local trends and challenges impacting the world of work is required to ensure we stay on our front foot and connect how our differentiated tech is accelerating the value we deliver. Past experience in building trusted and professional relationships with senior business stakeholders, delivering creative and impactful communications campaigns and working as part of a global team is essential.
