LinkedIn is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the US Fixed Assets team, at the world’s leading professional networking company. This individual will support the overall fixed assets accounting team, prepare global month end fixed assets reporting schedules and assist SOX audits. This position will report to the Fixed Assets Manager based in Mountain View,CA (hybrid).
The main responsibilities of the role will be to partner with FP&A, Workplace Operations and the Datacenter Operational Team to ensure proper accounting of Datacenter Assets. US Data Center accounting activities includes review of monthly invoice activities and preparation of monthly Datacenter additions and disposals. In addition, will be the owner of monthly schedules and reconciliations, including preparation of the Fixed Asset Rollforwards and monthly flux analysis.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong, analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by willingness to research and excellent attention to detail. The candidate should have prior Fixed Asset Accounting experience, ideally within the technology industry. Other key areas of knowledge would be a good understanding of Accounts Payable, procurement and FP&A monthly accrual processes. Strong understanding of accounting principles and have strong working knowledge of accounting processes end to end.

The pay range for this role is $83,000 to $130,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
