Job Description
At LinkedIn, we trust each other to do our best work where it works best for us and our teams. This role offers a hybrid work option, meaning you can both work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office, depending on what’s best for you and when it is important for your team to be together.
This role can be based out of our Sunnyvale, San Francisco or New York office.
In this role, we are looking for a savvy communications professional to drive our U.S. consumer communication program focused on helping people leverage LinkedIn as part of their professional lives. This person will be responsible for consumer storytelling tied to the latest cultural trends driving the world of work. The candidate must have an appetite for creative storytelling and an understanding of how social media integrates with traditional communications.
This person will be responsible for the LinkedIn Career Expert program which works hand in hand with LinkedIn senior executives and the top-tier press to help professionals leverage LinkedIn. This includes advising and activating executives’ online presence, speaking engagements and media opportunities.
This person will also be responsible for opportunistic and large scale communications programs, support peers with consumer storytelling across the business and strategize as well as own storytelling for consumer partnerships with media, talent and third party companies. This person will be involved in all stages of the consumer communications initiatives — from concept formulation, cross-functional planning, message development, media relationships, execution and results-oriented reporting and must be a good collaborator and exhibit a strong work ethic.
