LBX Company LLC Looking for Parts Sales & Marketing Specialist at Lexington, KY Full Time

LBX Company LLC, maker of Link-Belt excavators, forestry, demolition, and scrap/material handling equipment, has an immediate opening for a Parts Sales and Marketing Specialist.

Position Summary:

As a Parts Sales and Marketing function, this position is to examine potential incremental parts sales opportunities and make suggestions as to how LBX can provide additional programs for the parts segment of our dealer network. This position will also conduct dealer parts training and will coordinate and communicate relative LBX product support information such as parts policy and procedures, marketing programs, online parts systems to all dealers. This position must also ensure that communication between the dealer network and internal product support departments flows properly.

Essential Functions:

80% – Parts Sales and Marketing

• Drive performance improvement initiatives by providing on-site consultation to dealers.

• Manage and build the relationship with dealers and customers to ensure both theirs and LBX’s expectations are being met and exceeded.

• Create new Sales & Marketing programs and introduction to dealer network by conducting market research, competitive analysis and benchmarking on the LBX Dealer network relative to parts and dealer capabilities to measure the overall effectiveness.

• Help develop business strategies to achieve financial goals and successfully manage these plans.

• Manage current marketing programs and reporting of financial results of programs.

• Dealer Training on Parts Policies, Parts Systems, and Parts Programs via multiple methods (One on one dealer visits, regional training classes, on- line training courses, etc.).

• Sustain current parts systems, communicating system updates to dealers and researching ways to enhance such systems.

• Creation of Parts Advisory Council Agenda and coordination of the semi- annual meeting with the members of the council and Parts Management.

20% – Customer Support

• Help with creation of Annual Sales Goals, Annual Return amounts and monthly reporting of progress.

• Support customer service activities by answering inquires from dealers via telephone, FreshDesk and email and working with Supply Chain on backorder resolution

• Assist with development of a parts consumption methodology to support our dealers, LBX Supply Chain and SCM better plan part demand/forecasting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• People oriented, excellent communication skills, very analytical, leadership qualities, programming and mathematical capabilities are a must.

• A familiarity with general business practices of a parts department and our industry are essential.

• Must be capable of handling a variety of issues at one time, while maintaining a complete understanding of what is going on inside of the

LBX Customer Support Department and with the LBX Dealer.

• This position requires an analytical ability to understand customer expectations and review situations to make sure the customer is taken care of within the guidelines established by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration specializing in Marketing or Sales preferred.

• 3-5 years of Industry Sales & Marketing experience.

• Ability to interact with both internal customers as well as external customers.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Access.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None, but leadership is required.

Travel Requirement:

• This role can expect to travel approximately up to 60% of the time both domestically and internationally.

Working Conditions:

• This position requires spending time in a seated position while working at a computer station for a period of time. Work also requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, hearing, talking and lifting (up to 50 pounds).
