The HR Director role is a newly created position; the incumbent will be a key member of the company’s leadership team. This individual will work in a highly collaborative environment and will be tasked to improve employee experience and engagement through better talent acquisition, onboarding, performance leadership, systems, and processes. Most importantly, this role must create a culture that embraces change and focuses on improvements that further enhance the employee and leadership experience and ultimately helps drive Company strategy. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Human Resources. Hybrid/partial remote opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive execution of the Talent Management strategy, integrating best practices/trends and performing analysis on the effectiveness and competitiveness of existing talent management processes and programs
• Re-imagine and innovate our Talent Acquisition and Onboarding systems, policies, and processes to improve candidate, employee, and managerial experiences, stay abreast of new trends, and adopt best-in-class process/technology solutions.
• Develop strong HR professionals and future leaders and provide coaching and mentoring while developing career plans that align with organizational direction.
• Establish, monitor, and share meaningful KPIs using best-in-class processes and technology to inform management and key stakeholders of Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience performance.
• Oversight over the design and implementation of Lanco’s Learning & Development initiatives in partnership with other internal L&D functions.
• Re-design and lead our annual performance appraisal process, making recommendations on improvements that align with a changing culture.
• Lead succession planning efforts and related development across the organization to develop future talent.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to develop and execute an internal communications strategy to build community and connect across locations
• Highly effective coaching and consulting skills with a proven track record in quickly gaining credibility and partnering collaboratively with business leaders
• Our business is fast-paced and ever-evolving- the right individual should be change agile.
• Ability to travel 20%+
Education & Experience
• Bachelors’ Degree in HR, Business or Psychology, MBA preferred
• 10-15 years of related experience with a progressive HR leadership background.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
