KS2 Technologies is looking for a Sales Leader with experience building a sales team from the ground up and has been successful at doing it. This individual will be highly driven, tenacious, persistent, take charge, proactive individual, and willing to get in and work in the trenches. As a Sales Leader, you will be responsible to provide direction, leadership, and management to the Sales team. This person will directly supervise a team of two (2) or more Sales Representative and will continue to grow, lead, and develop the Sales organization.

The position will have broad authority to build business via a “key account” approach for all accounts and will have oversight of the Marketing Department. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone with a proven track record of growing start up sales teams to and Enterprise sales Department

Expectations/Responsibilities:

• Build, manager and hold a sales team accountable for sales quota, customer satisfaction, and other defined metrics
• Recruit, train, and coach inside and outside sales teams to maximize growth and market opportunities
• Selling IT software / hardware solutions and Professional Services into Enterprise Accounts with a focus on recurring revenue through managed services and solutions
• Build out additional sales and marketing processes and capabilities
• Responsible for annual sales and marketing plan, budget, strategy, and execution
• Define and develop product/service offerings and pricing
• Must be able to effectively use digital sales tools – HubSpot, Office 365 or similar
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Member of Senior Leadership Team, responsible for key sales/marketing metric weekly reporting

Ideal Candidate Requirements

• The candidate will achieve individually and team revenue growth goals through performance and activity management.
  • He/she will be responsible for bringing accounts and ideas
  • He/she target net new revenue goal is to achieve 30%-40% of $15 million on sales signing
  • He/she target on reoccurring revenue growth is 40-50% in the next 2-3 years
• The candidate will obtain profitable results through the business development team by developing consistent team performance through motivation, counseling, skill development, and product knowledge.
• The candidate will be responsible for managing the business development team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting KS2 Technologies presence.
• The candidate will create performance standards and metrics for the Sales Representatives and hold the team accountable for their key performance indicators.
• The candidate will drive ongoing training programs, coaching needs assessments, and effectiveness.
• The candidate will provide data and feedback for corrective action as is appropriate, as well as performance reviews.
• The candidate will review data related to volume and sales strategy. He/she will provide strategy and action plans for improvement.
• The candidate will have Sales experience with a track record of success.
• The candidate will be a strong conceptual leader.
• He/she will be persistent, process-driven, strategic with their decision making, and use data to show this. The candidate will manage through their CRM, to determine sales strategy. He/she will engage with the leadership team to drive results.
• The candidate will have proven experience in analyzing and identifying target opportunities for sales teams.
• The candidate will have a track record of referenceable clients and referenceable employees
• The candidate will have an established sales process and methods including writing SOW’s, MSA’s, quotes and proposals
• The candidate will have a track record of growing teams, achieving sales goals, and having fun
• Enterprise Operating System (EOS) training and experience a plus.

Non – Negotiable Requirements

• 4-year degree or MBA
• The candidate must have sales training in one of the main solution sales methodologies – Sandler, Miller Heiman, etc.
• The candidate must have proven sales leadership – or in a Senior Account Management role
• Must have been at one company for least 3-4 years and have changed companies every two years
• The candidate must be growth-oriented and have experience within a startup organization/entrepreneurial environment.
• The candidate will have an established track record of selling Enterprise Software (Oracle JDE, Oracle SaaS, IBM middleware, Red Hat, AWS) and Professional Services (Project, Cloud, Managed Services) into Enterprise Accounts or have experience with managed services
• Clear background and drug screen

Training and Travel

Expected ramp up time = Extensive training – KS2 systems and processes plus technical / product training is required. We also run EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) which the ideal candidate will have experience/ exposure to.

• Territory = US
• Travel = 10-25%
  • Can work remotely with occasional work in Grapevine office for required meetings
  • 3 or 4 trade shows per year
