Krispy Kreme’s Manager, Global Industry and Consumer Insights plays an integral role, owning the measurement of the KKD guest experience across all channels of the business and identifying key consumer, category, and industry trends impacting KKD performance globally. This individual will lead industry and consumer insight needs across the organization, managing thoughtful analysis independently, while continuously striving to proactively improve current measurement tools and reporting formats. The ideal candidate will be skilled at identifying the most meaningful way to organize and transform data into simple, compelling narratives that can be then communicated throughout different levels within the organization.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Manages and develops all global guest measurement programs/solutions
• Proactively partners with key stakeholders to identify ways to continuously optimize and improve program engagement and utilization
• Provides guidance to global markets on using measurement tools to understand promotion/LTO impacts on the overall experience
• Creates and communicates standard customer experience reporting to appropriate audiences (i.e. Operations, Franchisees, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
• Thoughtfully designs templates/scorecards for additional periodic reporting needs
• Pulls and analyzes data for custom report requests
• Conducts regular QA checks on customer experience data collection and reporting to ensure absolute accuracy
• Maintains highly detailed global store hierarchy files and manages day-to-day program needs (user groups, logins, passwords, etc).
• Continuously and independently gathers, summarizes and presents industry information and competitive market trends
• Develops and executes detailed and comprehensive periodic industry/category reporting, leveraging competitive intelligence tools such as Circana (NPD CREST), BBI, etc.
• Creates global dashboard integrating data from internal and external sources to track key brand measures, including purchase frequency, guest satisfaction, etc.
• Partners with Innovation, Marketing, QA/QC leaders in conducting internal and external product testing
• Independently manages all aspects of testing including recruiting, data collection/fielding and the comprehensive reporting of actionable insights
• When needed, partners with insights team colleagues on internal research initiatives, developing questionnaires against key objectives, programing surveys and then conducting thoughtful, in-depth analysis of results

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

• 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing/research experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Consumer Research, Business or related discipline required; MBA Preferred
• Strong organizational and project management skills with a proven ability to move projects forward in a constructive and timely manner
• Owns a strong talent for translating complex research objectives into simple, comprehensive solutions
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure and continuously evolving environment
• Ability to meet even the most seemingly minute, detailed insights task with earnest curiosity
• Advanced skills in MS Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, smartsheet)
• Experience with Circana (NPD CREST), Nielsen, PowerBI and/or survey programming software a plus
• Understanding of statistical concepts such as significance testing, weighting, Z-Test, etc. will help in this position
