DIRECTOR OF RESIDENT SERVICES ( NURSING ) RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct the operation of the Community’s resident services department
Direct the hiring and assignment of duties of licensed and non-licensed staff
Evaluate residents’ condition and care needs to determine the level of assistance needed
Evaluate resident records on an ongoing basis
Ensure availability of supplies and equipment related to the resident services
Provide ongoing teaching and training to staff
Perform other duties as assigned
DIRECTOR OF RESIDENT SERVICES ( NURSING ) QUALIFICATIONS
Maintains a current and unencumbered Registered Nurse ( RN ) license to practice professional nursing in the residing state
(WA & ) Obtains and maintains Nurse Delegation Certification in accordance with state requirements
Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire
Previous experience in a supervisory position (Geriatrics preferred)
Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public

Screening of EVERY person who enters a community for temperature, symptoms, travel history, and known exposure.
Frequent and routine aerosol misting of viral disinfectant in the community.
Installation of air purifiers throughout the community.
Installation of ultraviolet sanitation stations ance of many communities.
Routine infection control training for staff and essential visitors.
An increase in both food and PPE stock.
Working with local and state health departments.
Continuously evaluating conditions and making improvements to our COVID-19 prevention and response.
