Knot Standard Looking for HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT at New York, New York Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with day-to-day employee request and inquiries

• Assist in payroll functions including answering employee questions, helping employee submit Time Off Requests

• Support HR related inquiries

• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of employee personnel files and conversations

• Liaison for employees and IT support needs

• Assist with Corporate and Retail recruitment from job description creation through offer acceptance

• Assist with sourcing candidates via internal and external methods: networking, employee referrals and internal movement etc.

• Own the onboarding process, from New Hire Orientations to handing off the new hire to team manager

• Create, update, and maintain online job postings and board

• Demonstrates an understanding and knowledge of industry information and competitive landscape

• Conducts phone screens to confirm interest and availability, provides information regarding the position and schedules all in-person interviews

• Elevate the candidate experience and create memorable interactions that inspire the best to work at Knot Standard

• Assist with planning company events 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• A Bachelor’s degree 

• 1+ years of HR experience

• Strength in using Microsoft Office Excel

• Self-motivation and are detailed and deadline-oriented

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

• The ability to strategically think and solve problems

• The ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment at a growing company
