*POSITION SUMMARY: *
The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the day-to-day operations and strategic objectives of talent initiatives. The Talent Acquisition Specialist meets with members at all levels of the organization to identify and promote open positions, source and identify candidates, and push employer branding initiatives.
*ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: *
* Actively works to secure a viable talent pool, promotes employer branding and career events, and works closely with TAM to develop talent pipelines.
* Screens and attends interviews to ensure cultural match, qualifications and career direction insights provided to hiring managers.
* Leads the Boudreau Pipeline social media recruitment activities by joining/interacting with local community and jobs pages/groups to promote open positions and foster engagement and referrals.
* Administers with the recruitment and hiring process, including advertising open positions, reviewing resumes, coordinating and conducting interviews, conducting reference and background checks, drafting offer letters
* Enhances and administers the Applicant Tracking System(s), works within the HRIS system(s) as well.
* Provides customer service, both in-person and by telephone; screen and direct telephone calls; take and relay messages; answer questions from employees regarding human resources topics, rules, and regulations; respond to employment verification requests, salary and benefit surveys, and other requests for information
* Conducts on-boarding, including new hire orientation, facilitates and/ or provides training, reviews onboarding materials with HRD for updates.
* Supports retention initiatives, HRIS Administration and employment recordkeeping/files ensuring compliance, data integrity and information security
* Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of HR department and services performed
* Participates in other HR functions as a part of a team
* Perform other duties or special projects as required or assigned
*QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: *
* Bachelor’s degree preferred, additional relevant experience can be substituted
* Three (3)+ years of successful recruiting experience within an agency or corporate environment
* Spanish bilingual (written/verbal) highly preferred
* Ability to accomplish assigned projects utilizing effective communication (written and verbal), project management, time management and collaboration skills
* Excellent interpersonal/collaborative, facilitation/presentation and influencing/negotiation skills
* Strong ability to work well in a variety of team environments
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and computer skills
* Experience working within an applicant tracking software (iCIMS preferred)
* Experience with social media recruitment, creating job postings, candidate screening, candidate onboarding, behavioral based interviewing techniques
* Proven ability to meet/exceed performance goals and expectations
