JOB SUMMARY
As a strategic business partner/liaison, this individual is a single point of contact for IT related areas of the business for the hotel properties. They are a key enabler of the technology strategy set by the Corporate CIO. This important role is the creation of business value and is accountable for end-to-end IT delivery and value realization. Acts as a technology thought leader and ensures strategic and tactical alignment between the property and IT. This individual will also bring ideas on how new technology can accelerate strategy execution and enhance return on investment.
Responsible for the IT operation of IT systems directly impacting hotel operations and back-office functionality. This position is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of all property systems, and oversight of IT vendors installing/maintaining systems. Responsibility of specific systems include PMS, POS, phone systems, PC’s, printers, guest HSIA, local hotel property software platforms including Mobile Key and Opera.
This position is responsible for project managing the implementation of new technology in our hotels including computer rollouts, new-builds, and acquisitions. The Hospitality IT Business Liaison is responsible for ensuring all users adhere to IT standards, policies, and procedures in place by Kessler Collection. The Property IT Business Liaison is also responsible for basic computer training of users within the hotels to assist in maintaining efficient operation of the IT systems at each property.

Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and systems in use
Expert understanding of Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems, and Office applications.
Willingness and ability to develop an expert level understanding of the software commonly used.
Hands-on working experience with network switches including configuration of VLANs.
Previous working experience with PCI-DSS standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well in a highly dynamic environment, and efficiently multi-task.
Ability to effectively manage third-party vendors for support of various systems.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Experience in developing and executing business technology strategies and roadmaps
End to end Service Management (ITIL)
Overseeing IT projects or programs, with a focus on delivering business value
