Provider Relations and Outreach Coordinator (RN/LCSW) – Remote

Who we need:

The Provider Relations and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for building and executing the training curriculum for providers in addition to being the main point of contact for any provider related inquiries not considered to be standard interactions with operational and call center units. This position is critical to introducing providers to Kepro system and policies. The individual within this role will have regular communication with providers via multiple mediums. Training providers on our system and educating on critical submission policies are central to the role. This includes being responsible for training activities and available for technical assistance.

What you’ll do:

• Assist recipient with prior authorization issues, contact providers to provide form and prior authorization policy, and coordinate with provider to ensure recipient receive items and services covered by Medicaid.
• Cross trains and perform duties of other contracts within Kepro to provide a flexible workforce to meet client/customer needs.
• Responsible for planning, developing, facilitating and evaluating outreach and education programs for providers and stakeholders, including on-demand webcasts.
• Make/receive phone calls from both providers and recipients.
• Assist providers (to include, but not limited to Long Term Care/institutional facilities, physician offices, DME provider, etc) in coordination.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Experience

• 1-2 years’ experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in hospital, outpatient, managed care/utilization management, Care Management or LTC environment.
• Experience with State Medicaid or other state government programs preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years training and expertise in preparing and delivering informational and instructional programs for adults, required.
