Position Overview:
Kendra Scott is an exploding brand experiencing significant growth today and beyond. To keep pace with that growth, we are looking for a Senior Manager – HR Operations, who reports directly to the VP of Total Rewards & Home Office HR to help our Human Resources team provide WOW customer service to all Kendra Scott employees. This position leads a team and has ultimate responsibility for payroll, talent acquisition operations, HR systems, reporting, analytics, and project management. The team regularly collaborates with various departments to support the company throughout the employee life cycle.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a SME on the selection, implementation, and administration of systems, tools and resources, customizing configurations, streamlining workflows, and enabling users to be more efficient.
• Develop and deliver strategic reports to department operators to increase efficiency, employee engagement and allow for more oversight at department level.
• Partner with leadership to create simple and effective processes for HR transactions to streamline the team member operating experience.
• Define and implement potential projects considering financial benefit and process/business impact. Translate business objectives into projects with clear deliverables and measures of success.
• Develop a strategic relationship with the Talent Acquisition, Business Partnership, & Talent Development teams to deploy HR Operations solutions.
• Ensure smooth processes for talent acquisition to enable efficiency and scale for HR team and retail and home office leaders.
• Drive innovation in the HR field, challenge conventions, and in some cases reinvent how work is done.
• Manage vendor partnership and budget for HR Operations; partner with Asset Protection/Legal to establish best practices
• Produce process documents and workflows
• Guide and assist as necessary with HRIS transactions (promotions, bonuses, transfers, move workers, one-time payments, internal database updates).
• Provide leadership and oversee Payroll process, analysis and reporting; supervise the input of data and ensure data integrity; manage HRIS system (ADP) audits.
• Lead large and small-scale cross-functional HR project teams with focus on continuous improvement methodology.
• Influence and lead teams through difficult and complex efforts.
• Monitor internal HR systems.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; advanced certification is preferred (PHR, CEB or SPHR)
• 6+ years HR-related experience including minimum 3 years in HR operations leadership role and team management
• Exceptional project management skills and experience with the ability to manage multiple projects, initiatives and deadlines concurrently
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ADP
• Experience with HRIS implementation a plus
• Exposure and working knowledge of Federal and State regulatory laws and ordinances such as FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, etc.
• A willingness to play a “hands-on” role on key projects and initiatives
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively communicate benefits and wellness strategies at all levels
• Discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
• Flexibility to work with urgency in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities
