Position Overview:
The Director of Philanthropic Marketing at Kendra Scott will play an instrumental role in various aspects of marketing our Philanthropic efforts and managing strategy and execution. Reporting into the Vice President of Philanthropy, the Philanthropic Marketing Director will drive the Marketing strategy for all Philanthropy programs, partnerships and events. This person is primarily responsible for the leadership, management and direction of the marketing and communications for Philanthropy.
Responsibilities:
• Develop opportunities to create awareness about important philanthropic initiatives and impact through content development and marketing campaigns across all of Kendra Scott’s platforms – local/MPM, digital, social media, and e-commerce designed to reach target audiences
• Build strong relationships and maintain open communications with all cross-functional partners in Marketing and in other key functional areas (E-commerce, Retail Marketing, Wholesale) on a daily basis
• Build and amplify existing Philanthropic programs in partnership with Brand marketing, Retail Marketing and in partnership with Brand Public Relations
• Content management and Marketing planning for all philanthropic initiatives
• Act as the main point of contact for the Marketing team to ensure philanthropic marketing plans are executed in a timely and effective manner from start to finish
• Coordinate key marketing functions on campaign strategy, priorities, KPIs, timing, messaging, and execution
• Drive new philanthropic partnerships strategy (determine National or Retail Marketing/Local opportunity and develop Marketing/partnership strategy)
• Manage PR Philanthropy agency
• Support Vice President of Philanthropy on special projects when needed

• The ideal candidate thrives in strategy development, execution and management, demonstrates proficient technical abilities, leadership skills and strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with non-profits and Foundations
• General understanding of a 501c3
• Experience in grant making and cause marketing
• Experience in customer analytics
• Experience in PR and/or working with PR agencies
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years’ experience providing marketing and/or brand strategy for a high-growth company
• A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery
• The desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work cross functionally while managing simultaneous projects with schedule constraints
• The ability to manage competing priorities, cope with rapid change and calmly pivot when new, time-sensitive projects arise unexpectedly
