Social Media Content Creator and Digital Manager

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our creative team as a Social Media Content Creator and Digital Manager. As the content creator, this person will play across social platforms to engage and build our respective communities. The creative content will materialize from a number of sources; our owned brands/products, the products we create for our retail partners, our team and company. We want someone who understands why people share content, how the right content adds value and helps grow our company. As the digital manager, responsibilities include oversight and management of all our websites and social media platforms. Lastly, as a creative team partner, this person will supervise photo/video shoots and create our bi-weekly trend reports. This role requires the ability to work both independently and cross functionally with other teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead social content strategy for our owned brands and product releases, identify opportunities for enhanced brand storytelling
• Manage social content calendar; plan and execute on all brand content, set deadlines, and plan social activities/events 
• Design branded look and feel of all social media platforms, websites, email campaigns, and sales/marketing materials
• Create specific content for multiple social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
• Manage all of our digital assets: social media platforms, owned brand and company websites plus their related email campaigns, blog posts, and trend reports, etc. 
• Monitor social posts and promotions to determine ROI and share results 
• Build our company and brand communities by sharing must see content while utilizing other creative engagement/effective communication tools with followers as necessary
• Assist in planning the company/brand presence at industry trade shows and marketing events
• Photo/Video shoot concepting, planning and production as needed
• Produce Weekly Finds, our bi-monthly trend report
• Identify people and brands that inspire, then connect to form strategic partnerships that could benefit both parties

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or other specialized education related to social media/content marketing and consumer engagement
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite
• 3 + years of applicable experience and or specific knowledge in the following: content creation and social network strategy
• Strong writing skills primarily focused on executing quick, engaging introductions, headlines, and captions
• Generate content that emotionally connects with consumers
• Comfortable communicating and engaging with consumers, followers, clients, and our team; understands consumer centric communication
• Visual intelligence and the ability to instantly recognize great video/photo content 
• A built in passion and desire for studying consumer trends and identifying relevant products in the marketplace 
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to juggle multiple projects at once
• An ability to produce great results using an iphone (or similar) for making photography and video content
