This position reports to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and HR Operations. The HR Compliance Program Manager will work cooperatively with the HR leadership team to define and document processes in all HR areas including benefits, pension, compensation, talent acquisition, HRIS, workforce development and organizational learning and development. The HR Compliance Manager will help to identify areas of opportunities for performance improvement and create internal controls to mitigate risks. Job duties include developing auditing plans, conducting audits and analyzing data, summarizing the findings, providing recommendations for improvement and ensuring that effective actions plan are developed and carried out. The program manager will serve as the liaison with the JHM Office of Internal Audits.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Knowledge of all related state and federal laws as well as Joint Commission and other regulatory compliance issues related to Human Resources. Knowledge of HR including benefits, pension, compensation, talent acquisition, HRIS, workforce development and organizational learning and development is helpful.
Minimum 5 years of auditing experience which includes all phases of audit, including planning (assessing risk and determining scope and objectives), interviewing, executing, writing the audit report, conducting post-audit meetings, and follow-up of corrective action plans, and audit validation. Experience auditing HR data and systems is preferred. LEAN Six Sigma experience preferred.
