Overview:

The Digital Designer is responsible for ensuring that the brand message is communicated with high visual impact across all digital channels. They must have a good eye for design, layout, typography, an elevated sense of aesthetic and a background in digital. This role reports directly to the Digital Design Manager.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Design digital marketing materials and collateral:

o web banners, social media assets, landing pages, emails, online advertising etc. as needed

o paid social animations and animated web assets

• Concept visuals in partnership with the ecommerce and copy teams
• Work with the Digital Design Manager on the art direction, planning and production of product and model photoshoots to live on digital/social channels
• Maintain brand aesthetic across all digital channels
• Uphold the integrity of the brand internally, with external vendors and international teams
• Follow trends in the beauty space & propose new ideas for layouts and campaigns

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media or related concentration
• 3+ years of experience specifically in digital design (experience in luxury, fashion & retail brands preferred)
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Proficient in Photoshop animation and GIF creation for paid social
• Fluency in all areas of visual design with exceptional skills in font usage, typography and layout
• Selfmotivated with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment collaboratively across multiple teams
• Ability to manage deadlines and organize projects independently
• Experience with online media and social networks (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok etc)
• Knowledge of ecommerce channel asset best practices (e.g. general design rules for email creation, landing page layouts, banner sizing, etc.)
• Understanding of latest digital trends, desktop and mobile
