Position: Diesel Mechanic-Lakewood
IMMEDIATE HIRE!
We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic who can diagnose and repair simple and complex bus issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks for our vehicles. The successful candidate will use state-of-the-art computer diagnostic equipment to pinpoint issues and develop a cost-effective solution for each bus. School Bus Mechanic responsibilities
Work with other mechanics to properly diagnose the issue
Produce accurate and efficient repairs
Utilize the latest in diagnostic equipment to accurately pinpoint vehicle issues
Conduct vehicle inspections and alert supervisor to issues that will prevent the vehicles from passing inspection
School Bus Mechanic
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required (Associate’s degree preferred)
1+ years’ experience performing automotive service and/or vocational education
Familiarity with the latest vehicle diagnostic equipment
Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly disposition
Experience
Diesel Engine Repair: 1 year (Preferred)
Mechanical Knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
Pay dependent on experience
