About Public Affairs:
The Public Affairs Service Line is the world leader in Social and Opinion Research. We work with clients on political and public opinion polling, citizen and stakeholder management, social policy improvement, sustainable development strategy and identifying societal trends and perceptions across several sectors. We assess how government and public affairs policies as well as societal trends and views impact our client’s brand/products/markets.
What makes this role important at Ipsos?
We are looking for a highly experienced, technical leader to support our USAID business growth within the International Social Research (ISR) practice. This role requires a global/local perspective aligning with USG in general, and particularly USAID. The qualified candidate should be skilled and experienced in monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL).
Key attributes of the candidate include a deep familiarity with USAID projects and programming, including procurement mechanisms such as “co-creation”, and crafting responses to requests for information and requests for proposals. The qualified candidate should also demonstrate high-level expertise and experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research, assessments, and evaluations.
Additionally, the qualified candidate is expected to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, good business acumen, and a sharp, strategic mind. This position is based in Washington DC and requires working in-person from the Ipsos DC Office at minimum one day per week, and travel (domestic and international) at a minimum of 15% of the time.
