Job Type: Full-Time Seasonal March 1st – Dec. 1st depending on Weather Conditions
Experience is not required but pay is based accordingly.
Hourly Ranging: $26-$27/Hour (Includes Per Diem) *Additional $40/day Per Diem for extended travel.

Iowa Civil Contracting, Inc has been in business since 1972. We specialize in Total Pavement and Bridge Restoration. Iowa Civil Contracting is looking for concrete laborers/finishers. Our jobsites are primarily in Iowa, Nebraska & South Dakota. We do travel the Midwest.

Job Description

• Working with one, or several of our construction crews performing duties assigned by supervisory personnel.
• Travel will be expected.
• You must have the ability and be prepared to move yourself from jobsite to jobsite.
• Prior construction experience is a plus.

Specific Duties

• Work with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Drilling of Concrete
• Installing Reinforcing Steel
• Leveling Concrete
• Assisting Concrete Finishers
• Assisting Form Setters
• Carry various construction materials.
• Help in digging out, leveling and smoothing patches, and paving sites, and bridge sites.
• Work on different projects that have various working hours.
• Arrive to work on time.
• Drive Flatbed and other crew pickups as required, with a trailer with experience or training. Driving Record will be checked.
• Communicate Effectively with Crew and Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Normal Range of vision and hearing
• Capable of standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Prepared to work 12 hours + work shifts. As required.
