Job Description

Assists, coordinates and administers human resources processes relating to recruitment and staffing. Additionally, provides support to the Manager with other areas of human resources on an as needed basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Functions as an effective contributing member of the HR team to maintain the integrity of the HR function
• Assists with the development of staffing processes and recruitment plans to ensure best possible staffing outcome for the organization

Licensing and Contractual Compliance

• Maintains strict standards of confidentiality regarding agency staff and clients and employee records
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements before start date by all new hires
• Complies with all InVision Human Services policies, procedures and standard business practices
• Maintains general current knowledge of state and federal employment law

Administrative

• Provides administrative support to the recruitment and staffing function which includes:

1. Administers (write, post, place) advertisements for open positions in an effort to improve the quality and quantity of applicants for open positions.

2. Oversees internal job posting process

3. Screens resumes

4. Prescreens applicants to assess qualifications and interest to refer to senior HR staff for further consideration

5. Schedules interviews

6. Administers pre-employment requirements for prospective candidates

7. Completes reference check.

8. Conducts interviews of prospective candidates for open positions, as needed and at the direction of the Manager

9. Assists in the state-wide recruitment and staffing efforts of the organization, as needed and at the direction of the Manager

• Conducts new employee orientation
• Coordinates open houses
• Represents the company at job fairs and external recruiting open houses
• Researches the “market” in an effort to locate and identify targeted advertising opportunities for open positions in the company
• Responds to basic employee inquires
• Tracks, enters, and administers information required in the company’s HRIS
• Generates reports that assist in improving the quality of the human resources function for the region
• Completes new employee paperwork
• Participates and/or conducts exit interviews, as needed and that the direction of the Manager
• Utilizes computer equipment and programs to provide for efficient and effective communication and work flow
• Completes weekly reports to update Manager concerning staffing issues

Financial Management

• Provides full documentation of all expenditures made on behalf of the company in the form of petty cash, personal expense reimbursements, or other related disbursements
• Makes all expenditures within amounts approved by immediate supervisor or appropriate management personnel
• Makes cost-effective advertising decisions, in collaboration with Manager utilizing available metrics
• Reports immediately any discrepancies related to the use of personal or company funds
• Performs other job-related tasks, duties and responsibilities from time to time as requested by Manager

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or a related area is preferred plus a minimum of one year human resources or related experience. Experience with staffing/recruitment or benefits is preferred as is fundamental knowledge of Employment Law and the corresponding regulations.
