Job Description
Assists, coordinates and administers human resources processes relating to recruitment and staffing. Additionally, provides support to the Manager with other areas of human resources on an as needed basis.
1. Administers (write, post, place) advertisements for open positions in an effort to improve the quality and quantity of applicants for open positions.
2. Oversees internal job posting process
3. Screens resumes
4. Prescreens applicants to assess qualifications and interest to refer to senior HR staff for further consideration
5. Schedules interviews
6. Administers pre-employment requirements for prospective candidates
7. Completes reference check.
8. Conducts interviews of prospective candidates for open positions, as needed and at the direction of the Manager
9. Assists in the state-wide recruitment and staffing efforts of the organization, as needed and at the direction of the Manager

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or a related area is preferred plus a minimum of one year human resources or related experience. Experience with staffing/recruitment or benefits is preferred as is fundamental knowledge of Employment Law and the corresponding regulations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
