Interim Healthcare is looking for a passionate Nurse Practitioner to join our elite team of professionals and make a difference, one patient at a time.
How will you make an impact?
At Interim Healthcare w e are looking for an outstanding Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. Our promise to our patients is “We personalize and We are dedicated to making our patient care.”
The success of our company is dependent upon teamwork. Our specially trained team includes nurses (NP, LPN, and RN), social workers, and certified nursing assistants. The one thing we are missing is YOU – please join us!
· Continue to develop Interim Healthcare’s Hospice palliative care program
· Manage a caseload of palliative patients
· Assist with all aspects of patient care including diagnosis, treatment, medication management, assessments, and consultations
· Maintain comprehensive knowledge in the field of hospice and palliative care
· Travel to patients wherever they reside:
Home, nursing facility, etc.
HOSPICE NURSE PRACTIONER
Requirements:
What you need to have:
· Valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license
· NPI number, or ability to obtain one
· 1-2 years of nursing experience (preferred)
· Utmost compassion and integrity
· Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and hospice standards of practice
· Excellent interpersonal communication skills
· Must successfully pass agency-required background checks and drug test
ADA Specifications:
· Able to constantly travel within geographic areas serviced by the office from assignment to assignment.
· Work is normally performed in a residence, aggregate living facility, school, or occupational setting.
· Heavy physical activity that may require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs., and physically stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, standing, sitting, walking, reaching, and climbing stairs.
