Inspira Health Looking for RN – Part time – 5:30a-6p -Same Day Surgery – Mullica Hill at Mullica Hill, NJ Full Time

This position is responsible for providing professional nursing care through the nursing process. Meet the needs of the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team through communication, coordination, and evaluation. Comply with all policies and procedures, nursing standards of practice and regulatory bodies.

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
• You must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing and graduate on or before the second employment anniversary date into a nursing position.
• BSN or MSN graduates preferred.
• Two (2) years Med/Surge experience required.
• Two years (2) clinical experience in specialty area required for per diem positions.

Certification/Licensure

• Current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• American Heart Association ACLS required.
• American Heart Association PALS required within 3 months of hire.
• Dysrhythmia required within 3 months of hire.
• National certification in area of specialty preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of anesthesia agent and their impact on the patient’s response.
• Knowledge of discharge criteria.
• Knowledge of specimen collection and disposition.
• Knowledge of medication system and process.
• Knowledgeable and utilizes Cerner and unit specific computer systems.
• Knowledge of National Patient Safety Goals, procedures related to, and their application.
