The Human Resources and EEO Manager leads and directs HR Services & Recruiting teams and participates in executing the company’s strategy, initiatives, and programs by implementing best practices in talent acquisition, compensation administration, performance management, compliance, employee relations. Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Manages compensation administration to include analyze trends in compensation; research and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the Organization attracts and retains top talent. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations such as EEOC. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Manages internal compliant process to include investigations, internal tracking system, documentation, and review trends to make recommendations for future proactive approaches. Promotes confidentiality and sensitivity to all employee relations issues. Conducts/reviews exit interviews; analyzes trends and recommends solutions. Conducts Anti-Harassment, Anti-Discrimination, and Code of Conduct Training. Monitors compliance with EEOC Consent Decrees, and investigates and drafts responses to claims and charges through regulatory agencies. Manages records retention compliance for HR. Facilitates the ADA interactive process. Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the Organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning. Provides support and guidance to HR teams, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise. May be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations. Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees. Performs other duties as assigned.
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a combination of education and 15 years human resources experience
* 10 years of human resource experience
* 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resource Management Role
* Experience with litigation and investigation within a Human Resource role
* Experience with EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission)- will monitor compliance with EEOC consent decrees and invesitgations
* Must have PHR (Professional in Human Resources) and SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) certificates
* Must be Bilingual in English/Spanish
