Oversee, provide, and perform all related HR functions: talent management, compensation, leave of absence, payroll, HR compliance and collaborate on workplace safety.
Provide practical, consistent, and pro-active support, direction and advice to plant and field management, supervisors and employees on complex Human Resource, Employee Relations, and regulatory issues.
Provide performance management guidance to supervisors and support them in carrying out their responsibilities on people matters (supervision/coaching, mentoring professional development, and disciplinary actions); provide supervisors and staff members with coaching and resources to help resolve and prevent interpersonal and team conflicts and adapt to different leadership styles.
Facilitate and manage all trainings, touching on HR issues, employment law and best practices, including but not limited to training on proper documentation of employee issues, resolve workplace related issues.
Investigate, document, and resolve employee relations issues and employee claims/complaints.
Acting as the central point of contact between the Corporate HR functions and Business Line Leaders, ensuring that HR programs and initiatives are planned, coordinated and successfully implemented in a consistent manner.
Oversee workforce planning with Management, manage onboarding and termination issues, including new employee orientations, employee terminations, and exit interviews, to determine reasons behind separation. Compile and maintain info to identify trends and patterns in resignations, thereby strengthening workforce and loyalty.
Assist in recruiting, set up and attend job fairs and recruiting events in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team.
Conduct new-team member orientations to ensure team members gain an understanding of benefits plans and enrollment provisions. Counsel team members (and potential team members/applicants) on plan provisions so that individuals can make informed benefits decisions.
Support employees in various HR-related areas such as LOA, FMLA, Workers Comp and compensation.
Oversees payroll activities, including time-keeping methods and time-keeping policies.
Promote HR programs, incentives, and team building activities to promote an efficient and conflict-free workplace, enhancing job satisfaction.
Support annual Performance Management process.
Manages and defends the company in unemployment claims.
Maintain employee files and records in both electronic and paper form, manage the organization’s employee database and prepare reports.
Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
Work with leadership to maintain organizational guidelines and procedures.
Recommend new strategies to motivate employees, based on industry trends.
Manage, train and develop HR direct reports.
Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate needs to be willing and physically capable of regular daily travel to our sites; this is not a remote position.
Candidate needs to be flexible with availability and be prepared to represent ICG at recruiting and employee relations events during non-traditional hours

REQUIRED EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred for consideration. Advanced degree and/or certifications are considered a plus.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant working experience with a strong HR Generalist background.
Manufacturing experience preferred
Experience in supporting multiple locations across a large geographic market preferred
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
Experience working hands-on with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
