in-house apparel, inc. Looking for Men’s Designer at Remote Full Time

We are IN-HOUSE, a startup that has created the world’s first marketplace of “tastemaker” brands across sports, music, entertainment, and more (located at shopinhouse.com). Seeking a freelance designer. A major part of our business involves creating brands for “tastemakers” (celebrities) from scratch (design, manufacturing, fulfillment, etc.)

Requirements:

– At least 1 year apparel & Fashion design experience

– Quick and strong Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop skills. Ability to create graphics/logos/digital renderings is a MUST.

– Ability to sketch/illustrate is a plus

– Knowledge of tech packs a plus

– Comfortable with a variety of product categories, but streetwear/more casual or basic type garments is a MUST. For example, we are not currently looking for someone that can sketch or design couture.

– Critical attention to detail

– Time management skills

Responsibilities:

– Research, develop and initiate seasonal collections or entire brands. This will either be in collaboration with or at the full direction of the IH Design Director.

– Creative direction

– Occasionally, communication with manufacturers may be needed

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $10.00 – $100.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Fashion design: 1 year (Preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)
