We are one of the fastest-growing and most exciting agencies working in pharmaceutical marketing today, and we’re looking to add a Vice President of People to our team.

Reporting into the Chief People Officer, the Vice President of People will lead the Human Capital team, helping to ensure that imre is seen as one of the best places to work in our industry.

As a critical leader on our People team, the position requires taking initiative and applying an entrepreneurial spirit as our practice continues to grow and evolve. This leader will be a key architect of how we continue to hone our approach to people and talent strategy.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Leads the Human Capital function of the People department, managing and mentoring the People team, supporting professional development and scaling the team as needed for growth.
• With the Chief People Officer, develop an HR strategic roadmap along with a tactical plan to achieve goals
• Be seen as a business partner to our C-level executives, ensuring that the People team is aligned with business priorities and goals
• Develop and administer HR policies and procedures to maintain a productive and innovative workforce. Ensure that such policies are updated regularly and legally compliant.
• Serve as an escalation point for employee relations issues. Plan and direct solutions for workplace decisions, conflict negotiation and employee performance issues.
• Drive continued development of company talent by enabling robust People Development initiatives and Programs
• Partner with the Chief People Officer on the execution and refinement of people processes such as annual compensation, total rewards, performance management, succession planning, onboarding, and employee retention, among others
• Provide HR counsel to Talent Acquisition team in federal, state and local compliance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with a minimum of 5 in a leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• SPHR/PHR or equivalent HR certification preferred
• Prior experience as an HR Business Partner or above within an advertising/marketing agency required
• Strong business acumen and emotional intelligence
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with an eye towards constant improvement and driving of initiatives to completion
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven history of leading with empathy and optimism, including innovation around diversity, inclusion, talent development, and employee relations.
• Ability to influence and counsel all levels of the organization, while fostering a safe and caring work environment
• Strong knowledge of HR law and compliance and it’s day-to-day application at a federal, state and local level
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities
