Title: Shopify Developer

Location: Kings Cross (1x day a week onsite is needed)

Duration: 6 – 12 Months Rolling Contract

Must be able to come onsite to Kings Cross at least 1x day a week – otherwise CV will not be considered.

Shopify Theme Developer

Responsibilities include:

• Work closely with our Designers to translate design prototypes into fully functional Shopify themes and Shopify applications.
• Browser and device testing all your work
• Clearly communicate technical solutions to team members
• Create technical documentation

What You’ll Bring – Shopify Developer

Required: Mandatory

• Modern Front End development background (JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
• Familiarity with JS based build tooling (Webpack, Babel etc.)
• Working to deadlines
• Experience with Git version control
• Understanding of SEO requirements
• Experience in Agile development

Desirable Experience: Bonus Shopify Developer

• Previous experience developing Shopify themes
• Experience or a keen interest in reactive JS frameworks (Vue, React etc.)
• Knowledge of functional and Object Oriented programming paradigms
• Understanding of Server Side/client-side rendering and the pros and cons of both
• Experience with testing.
• Experience in building modular and reusable components/libraries
• Experience with continuous integration and deployments
