Day in the Life:
As a Data Engineer, the individual will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of driving major Data Engineering Projects (using Airflow, Python, Snowflake, etc.).
What You Will Do:
- Develop and implement airflow dags using Python
- Maintain Data Governance and relevant mapping documents
- Working on Version control tools like GitHub
- Work in Agile methodology and sprints
- Troubleshoot PROD issues in current Data Warehousing
- Work and collaborate with BI team for delivering projects
What You Will Need:
- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Experience in Airflow
- Experience in Snowflake
- Fluency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle)
- Experience with programming languages Python
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Experience with Shell Scripting an asset
- Experience with deployment and source code management (such as GitHub) an asset
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) an asset
