Hotel Iroquois Looking for Staff Cook at Mackinac Island, Michigan Full Time

Hotel Iroquois is a top-rated boutique hotel and fine dining restaurant on Northern Michigan’s Mackinac Island. National Geographic included Mackinac Island in its top ten islands of the world. The Carriage House Restaurants waterfront location serves lunch and dinner overlooking Lake Huron as well as the Mackinac Island Marina. The Carriage House has been featured in Gourmet magazine and is well known for its fine food, service, and superior lakefront setting.

We are seeking a Staff Cook to run an employee dining room for a staff of 100 daily. 

The work schedule is six-days per week. Hourly rate starts at $17.00, with overtime paying time-and-a-half. This position starts in early-May and runs through October.

Experience preparing meals for large groups is preferred. Expect consistency and punctuality in providing lunch and dinner during appropriate meal times, and accommodations for dietary restrictions of staff members.
