Responsibilities:

A Telemetry Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic patient care under the direction of the registered nurse utilizing process. The nursing process is demonstrated by the licensed practical nurses’ ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary health care team in planning, directing, implementing and evaluating patient care. Supervises Nursing Assistants. Involves general guidance and direction by the RN in charge and the Nursing Clinical Manager. The employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with the established departmental policies.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Louisiana
• Current BLS

Our Women’s Center offers compassionate family-centered care for women’s physical and emotional well-being from pre-pregnancy through post-menopause and is designated a baby-friendly facility.

The Lakeview Behavioral Health Center, for patients aged 55 and over, is the only inpatient health facility in the Southeast region with all private rooms. The Joint Commission and the Department of Health & Hospitals have accredited this short-term, 24-bed unit.
