Your day.
As a Nurse Supervisor you know that every day is different, which is why you need to know how to:
Represent Administration after hours; take appropriate actionas necessary.
Gather appropriate information to accurately provide staff for each unit.
Anticipate and communicate staffing needs for subsequent shifts.
Round in all nursing areas a minimum of once every 2 hours to support practice and accurately assess nursing needs.
Act as a resource person to the nursing staff.
Demonstrate ability to accurately estimate situations and reach sound workable solutions.
Support, provide, clarify, and ensure adnce to hospital policy.
Your experience.
We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
ASN from an accredited program; BSN, preferred.
Current Montana RN license.
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
Current ACLS certification ity to obtain within six (6) months of hire (and maintain throughout employment).At least one (1) of these certifications within six (6) months (and maintain throughout employment): TNCC, NRP, PALS, or STABLE.
Minimum of three (3) years’ recent acute care experience with at least two (2) years’ leadership experience.
