The Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Manager will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for all Holy Cross Services (HCS) locations. This position is a key support for all hiring Directors and Managers in sourcing, identifying, screening, and hiring candidates for various roles in the agency plus ensuring the successful onboarding of all new hires.
*Responsibilities: *
* Participates in agency-wide strategic planning and provides input on annual human resources-oriented goals
* Provide input to ensure that teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals
* Ensure that staffing needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind
* Devise and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants
* Create and implement end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates
* Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviews
* Post position vacancies and perform data entry into various HR systems (e.g. Relias, Paycor, etc.)
* Monitor activity in ATS ensuring timely review, screening, and processing of all applicants forwarding best candidates to hiring manager for final interview
* Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria
* Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
* Create interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
* Compile lists of most-suitable candidates be assessing their CVs, resumes, portfolios, screening interview, and references
* Complete all on-boarding tasks, including negotiating offers, conducting background checks, reference checks, and screenings, collecting all necessary paperwork, coordinating with various department to arrange for equipment, business cards, training scheduling, and other needs, and scheduling start date
* Provide all new hires with a predetermined onboarding plan including training schedule
* Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline
* Develop and maintain relationships with colleges and universities to ensure and an HCS presence with students and graduates
* Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders
* Manage electronic and paper personnel files as it relates to candidate, onboarding and new hire documentation
* Produce data reports as needed for the department
* Serve as the backup in the absence of the HR Manager regarding the off-boarding process including closing accounts, collecting materials and equipment, and conducting exit interviews
* Contribute to department strategic planning and recruitment targets. Establish targeted recruitment planning for urgent positions
* Ensure equitable screening and interviewing processes
* Maintain personnel files reports and documents as required by licensing, CARF, and other auditing entities
* Maintain current knowledge and training on relevant laws and best practices for the department
* Performs other duties related to the essential duties of the position and within the individual’s capabilities as assigned by one’s supervisor.
*Qualifications: *
* Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related fields
* 4+ years of experience a recruiting/talent acquisition or similar role
* Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
* Proficiency with social media, RESUME/resume databases, and professional networks
* Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems
* Experience in methods and solutions to proactively source candidates
* Human Resources/Recruiting experience within the nonprofit sector preferred
* Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to travel between locations as needed
