The 11-week summer internship program provides opportunities to:
• Access to Executive Leadership Team members for weekly Q&A sessions
• Learn directly from industry experts by having weekly 1:1 conversations related to career development
• Attend workshops related post-college career paths and personal development
• Gain exposure to all that the financial services industry has to offer
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of and make significant contributions to department initiatives and goals
• Establish a mentor-mentee relationship with team members
As an intern, you will participate in development meetings, a variety of networking, mentoring and community events, all intended to help establish what your well-th story is.
The position is full time for the 11 weeks and is a paid non-exempt (overtime pay eligible) position.
About Our Team:
As a team, we support both corporate and advisor field offices. We work across multiple markets delivering a robust hiring experience. You will report to the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist.
What You’ll Do:
• Design analytical processes to quantify risks within the firm
• Manage existing risk identification processes
• Monitor investment risk metrics such as concentration pockets and asset liquidity
• Conduct risk analyses on potential merger and acquisition practices’ holdings to identify exposures
• Aggregate, analyze, and report on alternative investment operational due diligence data
• Communicate findings to senior leadership
• Build relationships and collaborate with key-persons from other departments at the firm
• Assist with Operational Risk Management activities
Who You Are:
• Current full-time undergraduate student with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• You are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Excellent problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new technologies/systems
• Strong sense of personal courage and development
• Ability to be flexible, resourceful, quick to learn and adapt to change
• Solid written and active communication skills
