Specific Responsibilities Would Include
Centric Brands is looking for a dynamic, creative and resourceful Assistant Buyer to join its Herve Leger team. This individual must be a self-starter and team player who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited about joining a team on a journey to accelerate transformation across Centric Brands.Assist Merchandise Manager with HL DTC division: HL Ecommerce, HL Partner Shops (6), HL Outlet shops
- Run weekly selling reports to recap and analyze business results, making recommendations for driving improved performance and identifying opportunities
- Quickly react to urgent client requests for the stores
- Work with Merchandise Manager to fulfill weekly store fill ins
- Assist buyer in analyzing business reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Assist the buying team during market with product selection, assortment & order entry
- Support buyer with visual recaps, boards and line lists along with sample coordination
- Ensure all markdowns are properly entered in the system and communicated to relevant teams for all 3 channels
- Manage markdown calendars for all 3 channels
- Manage Ecommerce photoshoots and samples for shoot
- Partner with ecommerce team to launch products online, optimize product pages & maximize inventory
- Manage Bloomingdales relationship
- Bloomingdales.com templates to load new collection with Bloomingdales.com images
- Constant review of Bloomingdales.com site merchandising, pricing
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 1 year professional work experience
- Buying and/or Planning background
- High level of proficiency in retail math and excel
- Knowledge of Nuorder, SAP
- Ability to communicate and effectively follow through on assignments
- Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
- Analyze trends, sales, gross margin, inventory and turn
- Regularly review performance indicators and make suggestions to Buyer
- Manage plans for inventory levels, reacting and communicating changes in demand and logistics
- Participate in promotional activities, reviewing monthly calendar promotions
