AS400 Developer – 6 Month Contract – Immediate – Fully Remote
My client is looking for a Developer on an initial 6-Month contract based fully remotely.
The successful candidate will be in charge of the full SDLC of applications, you must have end-to-end experience and the ability to liaise with team members to meet deadlines.
Key Skills:
- End to End Application and Developer experience
- Application programmer with a deep understanding of AS400/L400/IBM Series.
- Highly proficient in AS400 SQL, Smart and Cobol.
- Responsible for analysing and identifying solutions for complex development/business initiatives & production defects
- Responsible for making code changes, getting necessary code review sign-offs, QA and UAT sign-offs and scheduling the promotion as defined by the SDLC
- Responsible for preparing artefacts as defined by the SDLC
- Liaise with the Solution Architect, PM, Product Owner and Developers to ensure all delivery of robust and high-quality software solutions
- Candidates should be highly professional, and self-motivated with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Sound knowledge of the Financial Services Sector
- Experience in delivering to tight project timescales
