Description/Job Summary
Linux Integration Engineer
Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services. Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.
Linux Integration Engineer Responsibilities:
- Developing solutions using containers and or virtual machines to achieve desired performance outcomes
- 3 years or more experience with Linux
- Experience managing and automating Linux OS configuration and installation
- Experience with infrastructure as code and automated provisioning. Tools such as ansible or puppet. Preferably ansible
- Experience with CI/CD concepts and toolsets such as Jenkins
Linux Integration Engineer Desired Skills:
- Developing solutions with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript as well as with Go
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud environments
- Knowledge of and experience applying software define networks
Linux Integration Engineer Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Cyber Security and three or more years of cybersecurity experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret level clearance to begin work.
- Proactive/self-starter. Task driven with ability to work independently.
- Team player that takes ownership and develops relationships that fosters team success
Job: Full-Time Employee, 40 hours/week
