Role Description:
GreyOrange is looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join
our team as a Marketing Manager. The right candidate will be equal parts creatively driven and
operationally excellent, focused on developing initiatives that help drive brand awareness and
increase lead generation for our fast growing organization.
The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for planning, developing, and executing in-
person and digital events as well as creating content for and managing the company’s organic
social media channels and employee advocacy program. The Marketing Manager will also be
responsible for planning and executing across industry/media sponsorships and GreyOrange
owned initiatives.
We’re looking for an innovative and energetic professional, with an attitude of getting things
done and a proven track record of working in a rapid-growth environment to deliver predictable
and sustainable results. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a
reputation for creating alignment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Plan, coordinate, and execute in-person and virtual events and programs on schedule,
within budget and with excellent attention to detail including webinars, conferences,
trade shows, and customer marketing campaigns as needed.
– Optimize events for success by tracking all aspects of execution to prescribed metrics
and analyzing results to track return on investment in partnership with marketing
operations and sales.
– Manage external relationships (vendors, venues, agencies, and media partners) as
needed to ensure maximum yield from investment.
– Branded collateral and giveaway sourcing, fulfillment, and inventory.
– Write compelling social copy and manage our organic social channels.
– Develop an understanding of GreyOrange’s tone and voice when communicating across
platforms to ensure brand consistency and continuity.
– Work with key stakeholders to plan the social media calendar for LinkedIn, Twitter, and
Facebook:
– Post/schedule content via Oktopost for owned channels and employee advocates.
– Brainstorm stories and topics. Stay on top of the latest social media trends. Collaborate
with key stakeholders to ensure all initiatives are covered in the social calendar.
– Monitor and respond to comments/engagement across all social channels.
– Other duties as assigned to support lead and demand generation initiatives.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
– 8-10 years of Marketing experience specifically in event management and social media.
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple projects and
meeting deadlines. Detail-oriented and organized.
– Exemplary communication skills. This role will require effective collaboration and
coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
– Self-starter who does not need hand holding and can operate without constant direction.
– Experience with B2B events and corporate social content preferred.
– Strong business writing skills and a strong sense of corporate communication.
– Prior industry experience in B2B technology, supply chain & distribution, or logistics
Preferred:
– Familiarity with Oktopost or other employee advocacy platforms is a plus.
– Experience developing and consolidating social media analytics and reporting.
– Comfortable presenting to sales & leadership teams, providing recommendations, and
executing a strategy.
