Job Summary:
The social media Director will support the brand’s continued growth by leading all social media initiatives and content across multiple platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, LinkedIn and Pinterest, with the responsibility of planning, developing and managing the strategy for each to support the growth of the company’s social media and consumer engagement.
The role will be working in a fast-paced, creative environment that offers an opportunity to be part of building a rapidly growing business and team. They will be responsible for creating in-house content and repurposing unique and effective content from the Partnerships team to build out a strong content calendar for all platforms.
This role is also responsible for acting as the brand voice by constantly engaging with our customers/followers/non-followers across all channels and mediums to elevate their experience, generate community engagement and develop brand champions. They must be up to date on all trends and passionate about the social media landscape, in order to successfully bring new ideas to the table, test new activations and ultimately continue to grow the channels.
Role Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing all of the brand’s social media platforms and community engagement.
Work cross functionally with Sales, DTC, PR and Marketing departments to ensure the content calendar is in alignment with topline brand activations, goals and plans.
Conceptualize and create stills, videos, behind-the-scenes footage and other supporting assets for campaigns around product launches, educational efforts, promotions, collaborations, ambassador activations, etc.
Work closely with the PR team to repurpose UGC and paid partnerships content, capture event content and repurpose press mentions.
Ensure that we are maximizing the usage of all assets by strategically using them across channels to maintain cohesiveness.
Stay up to date on new creative trends, insights and generate ideas on how to best translate these across our content and social media channels.
Drive efficient performance that is tracked and monitored in real-time to optimize tactics, pivot strategies and achieve growth and ROI targets.
Work with Social Media team to efficiently respond to all DMs and comments in a timely manner with appropriate messaging in the brand’s voice.
Oversee and manage social listening on TikTok and Instagram.
Strategize and communicate top level messaging priorities so that all departments remain in sync with strong brand messaging.
Analyze content productivity and performance KPIs and make cross-platform recommendations accordingly.

Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or another related major.
Experience / Abilities:
6+ years in Social Media industry & proven ability to successfully lead and manage a social team.
Proven track record in growing social media channels.
In depth knowledge of social media marketing industry
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
Well organized with great time management skills
Content creation experience
Outstanding project management skills
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Networking aptitude
Knowledge of DashHudson
Travel and Hours:
This is a full-time position.
3 days in-office required.
Travel may be required for on-site events/content creation.
