Business Development Manager
We are looking for a passionate and motivated business development manager to join our awesome team! As our BDM, your main responsibility will be to drive our business success by increasing sales. Your main goal will be to turn leads and prospects into paid users on the giving mortgages platform. You will achieve this by prospecting for new brokers via LinkedIn, email marketing campaigns, networking and looking for referral business. You will also be comfortable presenting (virtually) in most cases our platform and services to brokers, highlighting the features and benefits of using our service.
Your role will also consist of qualifying potential mortgage customers before they are sold onto our brokers, so you should be confident, articulate and have excellent telephone manner. You should be software savvy and have experience using CRM systems such as salesforce & Hubspot (Desired but not essential)
* Find prospects and leads, follow up as and when required
* Be organised and keep track of deal pipeline, tasks within CRM
* Perform software demonstrations
* Learn details about our products and services
* Understand all the prospects needs, problems or wants
* Explain how our solutions align with their business
* Manage relationships with existing clients
* Identify buyer persona profiles – Know your customer, find out what type of mortgage leads the firm is looking for, how many brokers they have and any other suitable information that can help close the deal
* Consult with sales and marketing team to ensure the efficiency
* Track and monitor your work
* Prepare and present reports when needed
* Report to office at least once per month (remote role)
About You
* At least 3 years of experience working as a BDM or mortgage broker
* At least 3 years of experience in sales
* Proven record of successful deals closed
* Have an interest in tech and software sales
* Great command of MS Office, CRM and prospecting software
* Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
* Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
* Team player
* Good time-management skills
* Hungry and motivated to grow your career and earn money
Basic £30,000 + uncapped commission OTE £70,000
