Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and professional Human Resource Coordinator to join our growing team in Tyler, TX. The ideal candidate should embody reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency while also demonstrating the ability to work cooperatively with others, multitask effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and sometimes challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain employee records, including new hires, pay rate changes, and terminations.
Review applications and resumes, assess applicant skills, and make recommendations on qualifications.
Provide guidance on human resource policies to managers, supervisors, and employees.
Act as a liaison between departments, assisting with personnel and payroll inquiries.
Offer information and consultation on employment-related issues, such as transfers, promotions, reductions-in-force, and placements.
Organize and oversee employee events to align with Employee Recognition Guidelines.
Handle various personnel and risk management programs/files.
Conduct office support tasks, including composing confidential correspondence, preparing spreadsheets, and data entry.
Interpret and apply Company policies, as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate records and files.
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including I9, W4, and background checks.
Conduct routine visits to accounts in Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama.
Facilitate weekly HR conference meetings with managers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Strongly Preferred
Previous recruiting experience with a proven talent sourcing track record.
Experience in scheduling and basic event planning/execution.
Bilingual Skills (English/Spanish) Are a Plus But Not Required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office programs.
Ideally, 2+ years of human resources or administrative support experience, but we are open to candidates eager to learn.
A commitment to continuous learning and growth within HR and Recruitment-related fields.
Creative Writing Skills Are a Plus But Not Required.
Familiarity with recruiting tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Zip Recruiter, etc.
Understanding Of How To Write And Edit Job Descriptions.
