We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Competitive Intelligence Leader to join our team. As a Competitive Intelligence Leader, she/he is tasked with keeping an organization well-informed about its market environment. Their responsibilities include monitoring market trends, studying competitors’ activities, and employing innovative thinking to anticipate emerging threats and opportunities.
This is a position of significant impact and visibility, leading the Competition Intelligence team. The team collaborates closely with our CXOs and business unit leaders, delivering targeted intelligence and actionable insights on competitors. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing G’s competitiveness and increasing our chances of success.
Responsibilities:
• Market Trend Assessment: The responsibility includes staying abreast of emerging market trends and shifts that impact the organization’s strategic outlook. This insight is crucial for adapting and aligning strategies to meet evolving market demands.
• Competitor Analysis: This role involves monitoring and analysing competitor activities, including product launches, marketing strategies, pricing, and partnerships. By scrutinizing this data, the professional draws inferences about competitor growth strategies and recommends necessary countermeasures.
• Deal planning: Need to play a pivotal role in shaping competitive strategy and roadmap with clear identification of potential competitors with relevant strategies for each deal-based scenario.
• Insight Generation: Distilling raw data into meaningful insights is a key aspect of the role. Connecting data-driven insights to business objectives to enable strategic/informed decision making within the organization.
• Thought Leadership: Building reputation as a trusted advisor with CXO, and business leaders; sharing creative ideas; bringing Thought Leadership at the forefront of everything we do.
• Team Management: continuously coaching the team to help solve our sales leaders’ needs with speed and thoroughness, continually improving the impact and delivering best in class data driven insights.
• High collaboration: Collaborating with the various business/technical communities to stay abreast of the latest developments and best practices. Also partner with advisory and analyst firms to cultivate channel/advisory relationships.
• Executive Presence: Presenting insights on competition including emerging trends, win and loss debrief to the Board and senior leaders
